“Doomscrolling” is as long as you want it be but at the same time it shows Meta is started to show like they care about peoples mental health and tell them when they should think you need to take a break from the app
On the other hand, the phone has a built-in screen timer called “Digital Wellbeing” (on Samsung) that you can set to whatever time limit you want or have a setting in Instagram itself to choose what time limit that you want but for some half an hour can be short with (maybe) almost help of posts being ads
